Crocus Cottage is a charming renovated traditional Slovene house in the centre of the village of Koprivnik. It is actually about 500 years old and has been through many incarnations. Hopefully this will be its last for a while! There are three upstairs bedrooms, two of which are doubles and one which can sleep up to four people. Also upstairs is a shower room, and downstairs are the kitchen, sitting room, bathroom and utility room. There is a very efficient woodburning stove and the heating is underfloor. There are facilities for babies and young children (stair gate, travel cot, high chair, toddler loo seat) should they be required.

Adjoining the house is an old barn, which is yet to be renovated.
At the front of the house is a lovely decked area, perfect for barbecues and balmy summer evenings listening to the cow bells and birds and admiring the beautiful sunsets (or sunrises).
Two minutes walk from the house is a friendly bar, which sells a delicious hot chocolate and serves beers, wine and food, the latter being what is available on a particular day. The bar owners are very friendly and appreciative of any attempts at Slovene!
